Penguins get a new look
Did you know….penguins are highly social birds that recognise individuals?
And yes, it is true to say that like their feathered equivalents, Penguins staff are extremely sociable, which is probably why they thrive in organising conferences, team building exercises and countless parties.
Being very busy and successful for twenty or so years and with a top client list with names such as Budweiser, Roche and Glaxo Smith Kline, left them with no time to think about their own image, until now.
The old image was looking very tired and dated, so Phoenix was briefed to bring it up-to-date with a bright, lively and modern feel, with the underlining job of communicating the unique Penguins personality and giving them stand out in a crowded market place.
Key to Penguins’ unique brand personality is their team. The Penguins people feature heavily in the material and a special photo shoot was arranged to capture the creatures on film. A substantial budget was allocated for heavy retouch but luckily they aren’t a bad looking bunch, so it wasn’t needed.
The tone and language of the copy was also carefully crafted by copywriter Lucy Coffey, to make sure the friendly and down to earth business approach is conveyed through the promotional material.
This new identity has subsequently been applied to stationery, brochures, web site, vehicle livery, clothing, signage and sales presentations. And after all the hard work, the Phoenix team of Pete Hammond, Lucy Coffey, Chris Fields and Hollie Spencer are proud to say, they are very fond of Penguins (including the chocolate variety).![]() |
