Swap-shop is back
Don’t worry it’s not a Noel Edmonds revival, it’s a revolutionary new idea in buying and selling a home.
Last month saw the launch of swap-homes.com, a unique new service for home owners and estate agents. Basically, swap-homes.com is a web based ‘matching’ service that works in roughly the same way as a normal home sale, except that the process is a lot simpler, as it involves just two properties.
We kicked off the promotion of this site with an article in BBC Good Homes which we then followed up with regional press coverage to target both home owners and estate agents, encouraging them to register details of their properties on the website.
To date, 1,000 home owners and 39 estate agents have registered on the site as a direct result of the campaign (over 450 of them in the Manchester area alone, thanks to a full page feature in the Manchester Evening News). The campaign continues next month.
