| A sign of the times, the Portishead times that is Phoenix has just completed phase one of revamping the signage at Port Marine: Persimmon’s and Charles Church’s large marina development in Portishead, near Bristol. The site covers a large area and features many community facilities as well as a nature reserve and a fully functioning marina with its own chandlery and boat yard. With such a range of facilities and messages it was our job to design a signage system that would not only be impactful and memorable, but functional and helpful in directing visiting traffic to the relevant areas of the site Whilst we were looking at the signage we couldn’t help ourselves… and subsequently also helped to clarify the site identity, produce a mini website as well as a series of supporting 48 sheet posters… well, when you’re enjoying yourself you tend to get carried away!
