The New Year has heralded the start of the holiday rush and Island Cruises are leading the way in the expanding cruises market.

With a new ship to promote, Island Cruises has made an aggressive start to 2006. A whole raft (no pun intended) of deals and great offers are being promoted to the public through advertising in the national, regional and trade press and via direct mail.

The campaign centres on the ship’s captains, a vital element of the friendly and informal Island Cruises experience, as they appear equally at ease chatting to guests, hosting Q and A sessions and taking part in the on board entertainment, such as steering the ship.

The new ship, Island Star, was launched to the public and trade in September and takes Island Cruises to a new level. With more space, extra facilities and some exciting new routes it looks sure to be a great hit. And with a ‘fact finding’ trip already booked on the new ship, it looks like our team will be hard at it for some time!
