Phoenix’s chosen charity is the International Childcare Trust. In 2003 Phoenix’ Chairman Peter Knight was introduced by a mutual friend to the charity’s Executive Director Margaret O’Grady, and was pleased to offer the charity the marketing support of the agency.

Peter was also keen to raise funds for ICT and before long he took the opportunity to visit some of the charity projects first hand when undertook a sponsored trip across Sri Lanka …on a push bike! He was so moved by the amazing work being done there that he accepted an invitation to become a trustee for the charity.  The word has spread here at Phoenix and last year Peter led a 5 strong team on another sponsored cycle ride across India which raised over £13,000 for the charity.
