
Let Down By Labour
The work: Conservative Party Campaign Chairman, Lord Saatchi, invited UK agencies to present original advertising concepts that supported the proposition: LET DOWN BY LABOUR, the strategic message underpinning all Conservative Party political advertising for the forthcoming election.
The result: Phoenix had three pieces of work shortlisted and acknowledged by Lord Saatchi, from over 3,000 entries - one of which has been selected as the winner. All the solutions supported the Let Down By Labour message, each one focusing on an individual aspect. The three areas: broken promises, excessive spin doctoring and lack of delivery were given a cutting edge with simple, bold imagery and minimal copy.
